Mr. Sanford joined Roomful Express Furniture in 1998 as company Controller. He oversaw many changes in the company’s computer and financial reporting systems in 1999, 2000 and 2001 including a complete conversion to new mainframe computer hardware and software in early 1999. He was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2002. While in this position, he successfully oversaw the move of the Corporate Headquarters to new facilities in Crafton, PA which included sophisticated warehouse management programs and fully automated inventory systems. In 2005 he initiated customer service programs to increase the level of customer satisfaction in all areas of the retail stores, delivery, and customer call center. Mr. Sanford was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in January 2007 and is responsible for the complete operations of all company locations including all Stores, Distribution Facilities and the Corporate offices.
