New Blog: Ms. Adventures on the Mon
The amoralist's moralist! Plus, the only blog by the iconoclast's iconoclast! And the only blog that claims to be the only blog by the iconoclast's iconoclast, who is also the amoralist's moralist! Of special interest to men and women who live in Southwestern Pennsylvania (this includes Pittsburgh!) and for whom absolutely nothing is sacred. Generally being over 30, with children, is a plus! Ms. Monongahela does not discriminate on the basis of character flaws or mental illness, either!

New Blog: Camera Phone Fun!
I'm a 23-year-old girl living in Pittsburgh with her boy, Benny (or Benno, or maybe even Ben, depending on how I refer to him!), and her three cats. I stay at home all day, mostly, and when Benny comes home we go out and do stuff, like chillin' with friends (yo), reading at the bookstore, or eating sushi. Insanely lucky? Yes I am, and I count my blessings every day. I take pictures of random moments in my life with my camera phone, and send them to my blog. I update more than ten times a day; usually with a comment. More than likely, you don't know me at all, but that's okay! You'll get to know me through my postings if you stick around for a couple of days.

One isn't necessarily born with courage, but one is born with potential. Without courage, we cannot practice any other virtue with consistency. We can't be kind, true, merciful, generous, or honest. - Maya Angelou

New Blog: Matzah and Marinara
I am a conundrum...what's not to love? I like rainy days, Rosamund Pilcher, the color pink, NASCAR (although my friend M says I have a lot of nerve calling myself a NASCAR fan when I don't even reserve the entire weekend to watch the races like she does), mah jong, cemetaries and right now, Green Day. And I like Bloody Marys - extra spicy. I cook, I clean, I vacuum compulsively. I am the mother of a handsome and charming 13 y/o son who is on the autism spectrum and I am married to my college sweetheart who calls me his "Pineapple Princess" and got me a license tag that says so to prove it. All I need now is a white picket fence and I am all set. Yep...that would do it.
